On Friday we had a BBQ put on by the PTA to welcome new families to the school. The sausages were really good!
After this we had an open afternoon for parents to come into our classes and see what we had been doing in science. We had fun doing lots of experiments with out parents, our favourite was 'Milk on the Move'. This is when you put food colouring into some milk and then a drop of dishwashing liquid. The coloured milk moves away from the dishwashing liquid and forms a cool pattern.
Once we had finished showing our parents our learning, we went to assembly and said goodbye to Mr Dilkes. He had an awesome cake made for him and we all got a piece to eat!
