Busy Week

We have had a busy start to Term 3! To start with we are looking at the Commonwealth Games and are making a chart of the medals New Zealand wins.  We have had new students come into Room 2, so we drew some Koru art which symbolises a new life and start in Room 2. At the moment we are doing Paper Mache and will end up making self-portrait masks.  In Maths we have been looking at temperature and what the weather is like – we have found out that Southland is WET at this time of year! On Wednesday we had Move n’ Prove, which is a gymnastics programme, we all enjoyed our first session. PMP is continuing this term and everyone enjoys doing this on a Monday and Tuesday, we would like to thank all the parent helpers and Mrs Holden for all that you do for us!
